How rare is this?

Clowns.jpg

Nice pair!

Thanks so much for sharing this with us. It is so cool to see all the corals and fish we love in their natural habitat!

Bump for more pictures!!!! I LOVE THIS THREAD!!!!!!:bounce3::bounce3::bounce3:

I'm here in Iowa in the middle of the States... So jealous as to what you have in you're "backyard".

Thanks for keeping me glued to the CPU for the last 24 hours.

Is it me or is that some type of anemone above just to the right of the clowns? bluish looking thing. BTW thank you for all the updates! Such an awesome thread.

Yes the clowns are always found in their host anemones or not far away from them.

Your Opinion on Goni's

Your Opinion on Goni's

Great thread, I just read the whole thing, Austrailia has always been on my list, and I will have to add Darwin to the iten. Since it looks like the Goni's in your tide pools are industructible, why do you think they are so difficult to keep long term in a tank?

Thanks

Best for last again.

We spotted this purple crab and I bent down to give it a prod.

Then out of nowhere this small blue ring came out. It was his lunch.

I just spent the last two days going through this thread; great stuff. You are living life to the fullest, thanks for sharing it with us.

With the abundance of life in that area, some of it nasty, have you ever been stung or had any close calls? Like with the blue ring above? I bet you could tell some great stories around a campfire.

This whole thread has been awesome! Being on the treasure coast of FL I do like going to the reefs and checking things out. The bathtub beach is great for that at low tide. Awesome pics!

Kinue, pictures would be awesome. Have you thought about starting a similar thread?

I just looked through this whole thread! All I can say is outstanding pictures Lewy! I will be following this thread, anxiously awaiting more!

The more and more pictures I see, I can't help but think how dirty the water looks and how well the corals seem to be doing!
