How rare is this?

WOW. The fact that you even get to see this amazing area is awesome, but getting the chance to collect for your personal tanks as well, that's even better. Great Thread.

We don't collect from this place. All the fish were hand caught with out nets and released after the photos were taken.

It has to be a rubrocinctus trueblack since none of the other tomato complex overlap in this area.

Love the pics of the rainfordi Lewy.

They are indeed rubrocinctus clowns and they all look like the others in previous pics.

The anemone above has a yellow tinge to it. We have seen green ones as well.

Collector friend has collected a blue one though on his trips. But they are very rare.

Yikes, those Blue Ring pictures creep me out. I love octopus but those BR ones are just to dangerous for my tastes. :hmm1:

dude, those were totally awesome pics you have shared with us ... I am so stoked that you have the ability to just go out and explore when ever... Keep up the awesome job of us envying you ...lol:debi:

Great pictures! Ever see any tangs when you go out?

Yes there are tangs that inhabit the reefs around here, only ever came across them once or twice when we are out collecting/looking around. I think Lewy posted a photo of one of the tangs we caught, you might have to go back and check the photos he posted earlier.
