How rare is this?

I'm fairly new to this hobby (just got into salt water this spring). I had been on so many rocky shores walking around at low tide and just never really appreciated what the corals would look like under blue lights. This thread has educated me greatly on what they look like in real life conditions! I know you're not allowed to harvest stuff, but has anyone who's been on beach vacations been tempted to bring back something back home? :) I know I'd be next time I go on a beach vacation.

Sooooo glad I stumbled upon this thread! Looking forward to seeing pics from your next trip

Thanks for sharing. First thread i have actually gone trough all the pages.

Looking forward to more pictures.

Ok. It's time for more.....I have made it a point to stay away for months. I believe you guys are blessed to be able to see and photograph the truly wild and beautiful corals and fish.

This is the most educational thread. I didn't have any appreciation of seashore muck until running into this thread. So we're coming towards spring in Australia. is that good or bad for tidal bay coral walks?
