How to hide ballasts?

Just like the title says. Could you guys post some pictures/ideas for how to hide metal halide ballasts? I'm kind of stuck on ideas because I have a large double 250W hamilton ballast -- fires bulbs like a champ but is huge and clunky. I've done some searching on the topic but I can't seem to find a solution to my liking. Thoughts?

Mines in the basement. Small hole in wall behind tank. Wires go to ballast, ballast plugged in to separate outlet. Not sure if that's an option for you or not, but an extension cord is easier to hide that a ballast. If you have to, cut the cord and make a tiny hole in wall, then resplice it at its final destination. Keeps the hole smaller than if you had to put a plug through it.

Just spitballin'

Thanks for the ideas guys. I wish I could put stuff in the basement, I'd go basement sump in no time, unfortunately that'll have to wait until I own a house :/. I might just have to get more inventive with my use of space behind the stand. But then I'm a bit worried about the lack of drip loop that would come from having the ballast on the floor or in the cabinet. Idk, I'll think of something,

My sump is extra deep the cabinet space is above the base unit and behind the mt. I couldn't afford the electric bills with a basement fish room. A small enclosed coffee or stereo table/cabinet could serve perfectly for something like Capt suggested; it wouldn't even have to be next to the tank.
