How to kill vermitid snails

I have a lot of SMALL vermitid snails on my LR. Is there anything that will eat them? I read somewhere emerald crabs will. I've read other posts that say to seal up their tubes but these guys are small. Everytime I do a WC I crush as many of them as I can, but doesn't seem to reduce their numbers.

I know I need to reduce excess nutrients, I've cut back on feedings, do WCs more frequently, and run GFO/carbon. I was definitely overfeeding when I first had the tank. Can LR "suck up" nutrients and slowly release them?

My puffer eats them.... so far best fish ever :)

R can suck up nutrients...there was just another post on this... but the guy said yea it can happen, best bet was to take it out and soak in vinegar for a short time and then scrub the hell out of it... rinse it and return it... its a nuke on the rock but apparently it can help...

six lines have been known to eat them. Crushing doesnt work as you are only destroying the tube, one guy said he super glued the bad spot to asphyxiate them. worth a shot i guess

+1 on crushing not working as the worm can sit in the rounded base at the bottom of the tube. Either take teh whole thing out with a clipper if you can reach easiy or inject some vinegar in the tube. Epoxying or supergluing the tub might also work.

I've only had a few in my tank. When their webs got too annoying I sealed them in their tubes with the same epoxy I use to mount frags. Worked each time.
