How to safely remove an anemone without tearing its foot?
I tried to remove the ceramic dish from the tank with my gig and its foot is attached to the outside rim of the dish. It sticks pretty well to it. I tried to carefully poke the edge of the foot with the blunt end of a bamboo skewer to cause it to retract and it worked for a tiny area. The problem is that it took forever and didn't archive much.
The problem is that the attachment area is not well accessible and that the anemone kind of sits around the rim.
Is there any safe way to cause the anemone to detach?
