How to update Euroquatics A1/A1P

Dont space them evenly. Slide them out so they are closer to the sides with less overlap in the middle

With three light fixtures placed over the same 48" tank, we sampled five different brands of LED lights. The balanced spacing was set right at 12" even spacing between all three lights. The optimized spacing proved to vary slightly between each brand of light but in every case, one fixture remained dead center and the outside lights were moved closer to the edges.

I've not had any other issues so, I think it might have just been a freak thing.

As far as how much to I like them, they're growing on me. They are a huge change from MH so, they're taking a bit of getting used to. I originally had the intensity set at 75% at peak day and my anemone was NOT happy. I had to dial them back.

The only thing I'm not happy with, is the fact that I have what I'll call shading in the corners of my tank (40B) with only two fixtures. I use corner frag racks and my Acro frags weren't getting enough light so, I put my actinic LED light bar back on temporarily. I have 3 more fixtures arriving today and I'm going to put a third on the tank with them mounted perpendicular to the length of the tank. So, that should eliminate the shading in the corners.
Awesome to hear. I'm going to try them on my new tank at home I'm setting up. It's 10ft long so I got a couple extra in case I need more coverage. Hopefully 7 will be enough.

Let me know what you think on that size tank when you get it setup. I'm (slowly) inching closer to getting my basement finished and, once done, I'll be upgrading to a 120. Trying to figure out how many of these fixtures to put over that since I an a bit of and Acroporaholic ;)
