How to update Euroquatics A1/A1P

Well 7 out of 8 isn't bad. I installed new firmware in the last one and while testing I noticed the UV lights randomly flicker once set above 60%. Probably a bad capacitor or something. Hopefully, I can make it work with 7 lights and use this one for parts if needed.

@griss Did your fixture stop flickering after storm mode was turned off?
Yeah, I haven’t noticed the flicker since that one time. It was all three lights so, I think it was just storm mode.

I wonder if FixReef could repair it?

Great idea. I forgot about them. I just reached out to them and will see what they say. If anything I could use it as a fuge light and just turn the UV lights off. I just recieved the Trigger Triton 44 V2 sump in and excited to utilize the large refugium built into it.

I printed two this past weekend but I haven't done more yet. You need 14 total? ( 2 per fixture) I'll do a few more this weekend when I have time.
Sounds good. Appreciate it. No hurry. Let me know what I owe you when you're all done. Yes, 7 fixtures total. Thanks! :)

Anyone having issues connecting to Euronet. I was wanting to make a slight change tonight and I keep getting the message "Cannot connect to network. Even standing right next to the lights with my laptop I'm getting that message. I'm not connected through my home network, just been connecting directly to the lights.

Hmm...I'm not using mine at the moment but I wouldn't imagine anything has changed. Maybe a home network issue?

The thing is, I’m not connected to the home network. I’m direct connect to the Master light via Euronet. Or, I guess I should say, that’s how I was connecting. Now I can’t connect direct at all.

I was having some issues on bluetooth when I did the first firmware update. I put it in wifi mode and set it up through wifi. They seem to have better connectivity that way.

My fault, misread that. Yeah, maybe the bluetooth wasn't connecting correctly.

They're basic computers. First option with computers is reboot. Unplug the lights for 30 seconds, plug back in and try again would be my suggestion.

Thanks, Sean. I did reboot the laptop but didn't think to reboot the lights. I'll try that tonight when I get home.

Okay, I unplugged all three lights for over 30 seconds. Plugged them back in and now, I'm not seeing Euronet on the laptop at all.

Edit - It showed up, I was able to connect, and modify the program. @kharmaguru might be a genius.

Woke up in the middle of the night the other night. Dogs wanted out so I went down the the main floor to open the back door and noticed the boy had left a basement light on. Went to the basement, turned the light off and as I was coming back up the steps, noticed the lights were in storm mode in the middle of the night...interesting.

Did you ever hear back from FixReef? Hoping they can get that resolved for you.

I did. They had never worked on it before but were willing to take a look. Not a bad price either. I have another option, so I might just keep it around for spare parts. The LED cluster boards seem to be fine.

@griss I should be ready to start mounting the lights next weekend. How are you liking the lights so far?
Still like them. I did notice my Acros were not coloring up as I'd expected. Granted, they are on corner frag racks and not getting the most direct light. I added a couple Populargrow Blue light bars and they seem to be coloring up now.

It's supposed to rain all weekend so, I should be able to make some progress on the basement (if we don't get a visit from our daughter, granddaughter and new grandson lol). I think when I get the 150 going, I'm going with 6 of the A1's and 2-3 light bars.
