Officially yes,but I am positive that maroons belong not only to the genus Amphiprion but also to the same species complex as ocellaris/percula.They are very similar in colour, pattern and shape. They all keep the oscillating swimming as adults.Just saw the hybrids at IMAC and they are perfect intermediates between both parent stocks.Dlckwood said:I think the main question is because ocellaris clowns are Amphiprion and GSM clowns are Premnas.

fwiw: It is not a trait of all saltwater fish and there is little conclusive evidence to support a female to male change of clowns.M0oN said:In general with hybrids a certain percentage of males will come out sterile, I don't know if this is true with salt water fish since they're able to change their sex at will...

How about an onyx percula crossed with the hybrid of a normal percula and an ocellaris? Iââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢m sure someone has tried it.
