literally...I was on 275 westbound merging onto the veterans exit (airport exit)the bike low sided (front tire washed out or came out from underneath me) the bike hit the wall with the tires and went across 2 lanes i hit the wall about 30mph. I went into the turn at 80mph i was lucky. I am lucky to be alive.

Everything that looks damaged can be replaced, so it looks like you came out ok. They say it's not if you go down, but when...glad to see your ok...

man you got lucky you didnt get run over and any more damage was caused
hows it look under the rash guards ? are ya pretty bruised up ?

please try to be safe i would hate to see one of my fellow reefers in the hospital for something that could have been avoided

but glad to see your ok

did ya just pick her up and drive away or did the 5.0 show up ?

After racing bikes for a number of years I realize there are two types of riders: Those who have gone down and those who are yet to go down. I'm happy to see your riding with leathers and a summer jacket. To many riders are riding with flip flops, tank top, and no helmet. Also good thing you have frame sliders it saved you alot of damage. Good to hear your ok just be happy you didn't high side.

the list to be replaced:
right side faring
right frame slider
right swing arm spool and bracket needs to be chopped off and a new bracket re welded
brake lever
and crank case cover
also a new summer jacket.

First i got the bike out of the road and onto the shoulder. Gave the bike a visual inspection...them made sure i was ok. Rode a bit to the gas station on memorial and victoria and inspected again. Buddy made sure i was ok. NO rash on my body No bruising, just some stiffness.

Man glad to see you are alright. I have seen so many bike crashes it is really scary sometimes.

Very good to see you are wearing the proper gear though. Road rash is one of the worst injuries I have ever seen.

When I low sided I slid across two lanes of traffic while my bike just kept going. I remember getting up and not worrying about me but thinking, "damn how much is this going to cost to fix?" I feel your pain. It was only after things calmed down I finally thought how lucky I was there was no traffic that night.

i had the traffic backed up to the amscot building...there was 10 cars directly behind me. As i got done sliding the cars were still moving and i jumped to the wall that i hit to make sure that a car wouldnt hit me. I'm kinda emberrased. You wanna know something ironic? i was on my way to get my suspension set up and it was a mixture of my suspension and tire pressure that helped me go down.

So glad you're ok.. My cousin crashed once and that's all it took.. He's got permanent physical and mental damage.. Again, glad to hear you're ok..

sure it wasent the fact that you were doin 80 around a corner ?

At least if you were dragging a knee that would make for a good story, but a bad suspension set-up...ouch. I can't see your knee pucks but I imagine that they are now broken in.

glad to see you make it out with your life . in my profession i see it all to often however most aren't as lucky learn from your lessons and dont let them happen again im sure its a wake up! Take care and all the best -
