I have a new toy

This was shot yesterday without a tripod, free hand at ISO 2000, Light compensation (-1), f stop 2.8 on a 100mm Macro lens - only T5's on, with no metal halides on....

Man,I was at Iso 200. I will try to set it around the 2000 mark f2.8 and see what happens. I have 2 learning curves- one for the camera/lens and one for the Lightroom 4.

Hey Glenn -

Here's another one at only ISO 500, and f stop at 2.8 ....

Adding a clearer picture instead of that screen shot..

I just got back from action camera to get a lens cover. They told me to raise the ISo. The shutter speed was too slow on top of the fact that I am not using a tripod. I'll get more pictures tonight!

I don't know much about cameras but I know those are great pictures!

Thanks. It's my first try. Last night was horrible. I couldn't get anything to look descent. I am sure I will get a hang of it in the future. It is just hard editing in Lightroom since I am partially color blind. I don't see the full spectrum of the rainbow.

Nice first shots.

Are you using a tripod, and manual focus?

Though i need a tripod, i have found the manual focus to be better than auto, at least for me.

I haven't used the tripod yet. It is still at auto focus, auto iso. I got the remote release today and just figured out how to set it up. More practice needed for sure. Learning curve is steep.

Looks like I can put the picture down and when I click on the picture it goes to the website for the video. Here is another one.
