I have a 46gal bowfront that has no live stock or anything in it,it is in the process of being set up, and i just ordered a nova extreme pro with 3-10000k and 3-460nm a total of 234watts is this to much light for a 46 gal??? Its a T-5 fixture

Sounds good to me, you should be pretty happy with that

Depending on what you want to keep, that is certainly not "too much" light for a reef tank.

if it has individual reflectors imo t5s are good enough for most reef tanks, and nearly all live stock, your bow is a standard bow and not too deep, so t5s should be fine for your intended livestock

Yes it has individual ref.. And yes just your standard 46gal bow from pet smart

Clams, zoas, and scallops have vastly different lighting requirements, but should all do OK with that light. Just stick to one of the less-demanding clam species and be sure to situate it properly in your tank.
