My I-Tech 400 handles my 400+ gallon heavy bio load system. I'm sure the 200 can handle a 150 plus sump.

It is that or the MSX 250.. but i just think the itech is better quality...
However the msx has two pumps

After owning an Octo Extreme 160 and an I-tech 100, I can tell you that there is no comparison in the quality of the two units. The Octo/MSX is what I would consider "adequate" in terms of build quality. The I-tech on the other hand is every bit as stout as my old CS series Euroreef. Beefy to say the least, and it just gives a feeling of quality. On top of all that, the I-tech is made right here in the USA, so you're keeping your hard earned cash in the U.S.A. My little I-tech 100 has outperformed my old Octo Extreme in terms of skimmate quantity and stank with far less airflow than it's predecessor.

My "old" skimmer was a MSX250, my I-Tech 200 started pulling stuff within hours of going in along side my old skimmer. I pulled the old skimmer out and sold it....nufff said. :p

I've fallen in love with these Skimmers badly.
What price rang do these skimmers run?

Me too.
Bimmerz, I have an Octo 200. Is it worth the switch for me to put an I-Tech on my 75?

Everyone out there who has a Tunze 9410 running their I-Tech 100 ., please provide some feedback please.

Happy, Sad, Angry or Mad.

Any issues or is it performing like a champ, like I suspect.

Thanks

anyone out there besides mflamb running the 400 on they're tanks? All the talk is about the smaller models. Lets hear about the bigger ones!

I just got my 200 in and the flex tubing (air line) is too short to reach the pump!! Argh!

To follow up, John saw my post and emailed me about it, after shop hours. What great customer service! As it happens I found I had some tubing that was the same size lying around so made my own airline and I am up and running!! Pics to follow later.

100 with the tunze =

Here are a few crappy pics right at set up. The pump was on for maybe 5 minutes and dialled down to the lowest setting for intake.
