Well maybe not secrets, but it seems you guys are afraid of the MODS in here. I am fairly new to this site, and so far, they seem to be doing a great job.
Its all about common sense, posting a price about a product is not a evil thing to do, its part of the decision making in deciding if a product is worth buying.
Lets get back on track, here some specs i got.
The "medium" or model 200 is powered by the stock CoralVue PSK2500 with a needle wheel impeller. Air draw is approximately 600 lph at 18 watts through a removable bubble plate. The impeller is fairly well balanced so noise is minimal but to ensure quality each unit is run of several hours prior to sale. They're ruggedly built in America from 1/8" wall acrylic tube, 3/16" clear and 3/8" PVC. All chemical and physical heat welds are professionally done. Three titanium screws allow for the units to be completely broken down. It is an internal skimmer and the sump's water level should be a constant 6"-8". Physical dimensions are 22 ¾" in height with a footprint of 11 ¼" x 8 ½". An extra 3/8" clearance is needed for collection cup removal. Cost with the Sicce is $529 plus applicable taxes and shipping.
An alternate skimmer motor should be available soon from Tunze.
Lets talk about this Skimmer, I know some of you have them already, well the prototype.
How are they doing so far?
BTW, my email was sent to John last night and he answer around midnight. Any LFS looking at email that late and answer them has my respect.
