I think I just received the healthiest clams ever...

UPS showed up at 4:30pm (yeah, I know...) and I spent the next hour temp and drip acclimating my two new Tonga Maxima's from PEA.

Placed them into the tank around 6pm - in the sand nestled up next to my rockwork. About 2hrs later I tried to pick one of them up to make sure it didn't have stuck air in it and to my surpise, he had already started to attach himself to the rock next to him! 2 hours in!

Here's hoping these two are long-lived citizens, they certainly seem to be. Anyone else had experiences like this?

nice clams! are these the "their pick" package clams? just curious what light do you have?

No they were WYSIWYG ones. Unfortunately one of them is exibiting PM for some reason. Did a FW dip a couple days ago and he has stayed in exactly the same condition since. Kind of odd, in my experience PM acts rather fast.

Hoping it pulls through. They are very nice and healthy.

They are great, I got a blue maxima from them, their pick and it is gorgeous. I have probably got half my livestock from them.
