I think my bubble coral spawned...

My friend and I were checking out the tank tonight close to lights out when all the sudden my bubble coral pulsed and release a bunch or stuff into the water. The fish swarmed and started eating it all. We kept watching and a minute or so later it did it again. This continued about 5 times and each time the fish started eating it. Afterwards the bubble was deflated and the mouths were huge. I have never seen this coral do anything like this before. Now the lights are out and the feeding tentacles are out. It was very strange. The stuff it poofed out was whitish reddish and hard to tell and other details. I should have probably grabbed my camera but we were mesmerized by what was going on. Have you seen this behavior?

Sound like it was expelling its poo, mine do this regular after a few days of heavy feeding.

yeah, likely just expelling and not really spawning. Can you give a better description or a picture ? where the small round spheres ? or just cloudy stringy stuff ?

yeah, my lps poops just like that all the time. the color of the poop is dictated by whatever it was eating.
