I Won Second Place At the State Science Fair!!!!

As the Title says .I Won Second Place At the State Science Fair!.:rollface: I have been up at CSU for the last 3 days, being judged and stuff. I got a medal that says Colorado State Science Fair on it, and a red ribbon. I also won 75.00 so I'll have enough money for the next group buy. I won in the Animal Sciences division. I lost to a senior that had worked on his project for 4 years in a row. I almost made it to International but didn't. I wanted to say thanks to the people that gave me frags for this project, especially Scott from Exotic Tropicals.red[/COLOR]

Thanks guys. Murfman, I actually might have a plan for next years project. Some people have used dead sps coral (basically live rock) and grew osteoblasts, the cells which make up your bones on it since it closely mimics human bone. So I would like to do something that applies to humans like tissue regeneration in coral, and coralate that to people. I'll probably think of 100 ideas between now and next year, so who knows.

Well, tanks not in the united states are doing something to make their SPS grow faster, but it would be hard to do that here cause human growth hormone (HGH) are illegal to get without some type of doctor approval.

But you would not beleive the SPSs in tanks that use HGH, it is sick sick sick how fast they grow. But you might find a way to get a hold of some. Body Builders that use HGH are pretty easy to spot because they really do have a larger frame then the normal body, and that is exactly what you are talking about doing with SPS growth. You will notice body builders have the square jaw because it will grow more after they take HGH and cause that funny look.

SPS with HGH, I think we talked about it here once not long ago

The HGH isn't like a hormone in humans. It breaks down the nutrients to maximize the chemical compounds used by the corals.

Sounds fun...the phillies are actually building their new AAA ballpark 2 minutes from my house for 2008
