I'm doing it... growing aiptasia that is.

Amphipod will pose some problems to the survival to populations of Berghia. They eat the eggs they lay so ensure you don't put a piece of live rock from your display in this tank as they most certainly live on this rock.
 
This is anecdotal... but this worked for me every time aiptasia reared its nasty lil self.
Squirt it with Extreme Garlic (concentrated one). Do it for a few days.
Gone!
 
I used filefish also but it ate some of my zoanthids so it went back.

I am amazed of how well concentrated Kalk worked though. Mix up a kalk slurry, and use one of the plastic syringe that comes with salifert test kits and slowly inject kalk into Aptasia or Majanos with the pumps/powerheads off. Wait a few minutes to turn the powerheads back on. Might take two applications but it worked wonders for me and it was really cheap.

Yes, just watch PH if you have a lot to kill. Once pumps come back on and circulate a bunch of kalk, a PH spike is very possible.
