I'm having big fun now...390 display +

Ohhh Mike looks like you opened a can of worms. I had heard that but haven't looked into the details. I was going to go with Zenia on my back wall - if I can get them to grow in the big tank - and that is a big "IF".

Not a can of worms... but just like we have to pick fish that are appropriate for our systems, we also have to pick corals that are appropriate.

I think that the hobby is starting to see that we need coral compatibility lists too :-)

I'm going to put Xenia in my refugium. It's about 40 gallons. My stand will have glass doors, so it will be visible.

That's some scary stuff on GSP I didn't know! What little I have is coming out into another tank when I get home!

i want to see a pic with the vho's on to.
Without any wood on the canopy, too much light coming out to get a good picture. I've tried.

Get some cheap foam sheets from Lowes, and make a cheap canopy.

the begining of the end. i had no idea until much later that it was probably the GSP

i totally lost this huge Hydnophora that was downcurrent from the GSP. there was also a couple other huge colonies of GSP in the tank too.

You could also hang towels to block the light from pouring out...looking real nice now that there is life in that thar tank :D

Here's some bad pics of fish given to my by Joe (poknsnok). He's tearing down his system to set up a 220 that will be here on the 29th of this month. I borrowed a 46 bowfront to QT the Naso, Royal Gramma and a Chromis. I added the 4 Lyretail Anthias in with the Vlamingi.
