I'm in between camera....

I'm looking at either a Canon Sd800is or the pricer G7. The camera will mainly be used to shoot family events/vacations, however I do enjoy just walking around taking images of things that interest me.

I'm coming from a G5 and really enjoy the extra features the G7 offers, but not sure at the cost difference.

If you have been using a g5, i really doubt you will be happy with the sd series. It does not have the capabilities or the quality of the G series cameras.
