With the crowds that have descended on the newly opened store, they are getting cleaned out as fast as they can get new stock into the store. They are getting 3 shipments a week. They were acclimating a new shipment of acros tonight when I was there. I couldn't tell what they looked like, since they were still in the bags hanging from styrofoam blocks. Last night, they were unpacking fish until 10:30 PM. I'm sure it will settle down after the novelty wears off. Until then, I think the stock on any given day will be hit or miss. On Tuesday, there was a tank with six or more blue-throat triggers. Tonight, there were only two left. They must have had a dozen naso tangs on Tuesday and most of them were gone today. They are moving a tremendous amount of livestock.
The freshwater section downstairs it quieter, but impressive in its own right. I think they have more local competition in this arena, but they certainly have lot of fish down there, including a whole wall of tanks with African cichlids.
I don't know what "Trop" is, so I can't offer a comparison. I assume that it is a store up Nawth Joisey somewhere.
