Well I added 2 koralia 3's and 1 seio 2600. the seio I have running direct and I'm running the koralias on the seio controller. works pretty nice, I'm surprised. but to recap on the move. I started by removing 140 gallons from the lagoon( saving for water changes)
and started to move rock and corals from the 180. I moved about 1/4 of the tank at a time, so I took a bunch of corals from one section and put them in the upper refuge and then moved rock over and set that all in it's final spots then moved the corals down to the lagoon from the fuge. I did this procedure over and over and over. but it all moved real well and no loses. I even found some things I forgot I had that had gotten covered by other rocks. also while moving livestock over I pumped over 140 gallons of the old water. I believe this will help by having at least some good bacteria in it. I know water does not have much but it's better then none. after all rock and corals and fish were moved I removed all the sand from the 180 5 five gallon pails FULL. and added 4 of them to the new system. I have 1 left over that I may or may not add. but all in all things went with out a hitch, now as I sit here I'm thinking about the next BIG one I'll build but that will be later on. I think I covered it all but if not, I'm sure after you read this you will ask about something I forgot to write. I'll post up some more pictures later. I have a guy coming over tonight to trade a HUGE toadstool for a few rocks. let me just say it WON'T fit in a 90 gallon with out hitting the front and back glass with the cap. and the stem is bigger then a 2 liter pop bottle. :smokin:
