Interaction in the wild

Hey Dr. Roy,
I was wondering if G. ternatensis and G. graphurus ever interact in the wild. I see that the range map overlaps a bit. Does G. ternatensis' preference for branching coral make the possiblity of encouters low? I've never heard much about interactions so I was just curious.

It is possible, but I have never caught them in exactly the same habitat. G. ternatensis seems to perfer cleaner reef waters; G. graphurus are more typically taken in coastal waters. Other than that, both seem to like branching live corals in shallow water.
