Sorry, I have only limited internet access, we have it at the booth but only one person can be online at a time and Mr. Tunze is usually online getting info back and forth with the factory. There is alos a 7hr time difference. The 6065 and 6085 should be ready in July, the remaining versions need some more time, likely the 6105, 6205 and 6305 won't be ready until October or November. They are roughly 1cm smaller in all dimensions but they stick out a lot less into the tank because of the integrated magnet holder. Sorry, Mr. Pink Floyd but we have been working on this concept for well over a year so I am pretty sure we had the idea first. It is very similar to the nano stream but the shaft is removable and fixed on both ends in silicon bushings. The clamp is much larger and far more robust with two tabs that are about 3 times the thickness and 6 times the length of what is used on the nano stream. The magnet holders will also be availabe for 1" glass and come standard on the bigger pumps.
The 7096 should be ready in November.
The Nano Wavebox works really well. It is the same box as a 9002 skimmer or 3165 filter with a 6055 inside of it.
The new skimmer is pretty slick too. The new skimmer pump is very quiet, simpler, cheaper, more energy efficient and the filter sock seems to be a great addition.
We also have a filter sock set for adding to a DIY sump and a couple new return pumps that are very quiet and have adjustable flow.
The theme for this year was "ecoenergetic" which unfortunately I had explain to Mr. Tunze was not a real word but hey, neither is Automagic or half a dozen other trade words that come to mind. But the basic concept was to make everything even more energy efficient and quieter. The new skimmer if you can imagine when paired with one of the new return pumps enables you to have an entire filter set using less than 50W, with skimming, mechanical and biological filtration and the new skimmer is truly automatic, no adjustments of any kind. You just plug it in and it automatically adjust airflow and waterflow through a patented feedback system. I have to log off soon but just wanted to update.
