Invert experts! What is this?? Pic!

no shrimp in my tank except a pistol shrimp thats molt looks nothing like this. its a japanese with all red and white only, this has purple and orange ... it almost looks like the claw of a purple pistol shrimp. any guesses? its very sharp

Yep, looks like a molted pistol claw. Maybe there is a hitchiker pistol in the tank you havent seen? Or the colors are simply weird because its a molt.

hmm wierd mystery, ill keep you posted if i see another pistol, my japanese pistol has much bigger claws than that so its not him

i just fed my tank and he came out in full view for the first time since i got him the day i started my tank.. thats really odd... well he looks absouletely beautiful and has gained lots of purple! so i guess that was him!
