You are going to get both sides to this, people swear by them and others swear against them! My step-dad has sps, lps, zoas, mushrooms and fish and everything grows very well and he has had no outbreaks of any thing. Since he has put it back on. He had it on for about 3 years took it off and got an ich outbreak twice, since he has put it back on for about 6 years now and nothing has happened and everything does really well. Some people say that you will not get reporduction from spores/eggs cause it will kill them, but talk to the average reefkeeper about trying to raise that stuff, its tough, and it becomes a pain when it takes over your tank.
