Is it natural for Goldflake angel to constantly glass surf?

Seems like members got bored of my previous post on Goldflake so starting a new one as I still need some assistance. After going into the 55g QT and treated both in water column and eventually in food when started Eating, the Goldflake is still glass surfing BUT eating very well. I'm beginning to think that the glass surfing is part of his active natural behavior. Is this possible?

I never had that fish myself but a local store has them quite regularly and I have not noticed any abnormal behavior with healthy specimen.
Your fish is behaving abnormal.
In my experience, "normal" (temporary) glass surfing indicates that the fish wants to go somewhere on the other side of the glass or that it is reacting to a reflection in the glass. This usually doesn't last very long.
A fish doing that all day for weeks or even months has a problem.

I tend to agree. He definitely had very bad internal parasite which was definitely causing lack of appetite and very long 2 strings at a time feces. That’s all been properly treated now and feces is normal and so is appetite. Any outward sign of disease seems to be absent. Could it be something that happened during collection..a)cyanid, b) swim bladder injury( still tips head back and swims on his belly a bit as he circles back to normal position against the glass) c) something else...any hypothesis? I hesitate returning him to 625g display if we cannot ensure i wont have to taken him out again anytime soon......thx
