I have a clown hosting in my carpet currently. The clown keeps trying to dig it's head into the mouth of the carpet... is this something i should be worried about or is this normal?

He should be fine that is just what some clowns do,sometimes clowns can be ruf enof to hurt. I have had lots of clowns and anems.like a 50-100 and only had one clown(a big gold strip)and the anem was not healthy when i got it you should be finr

if it is a new carpet acclimating.
if the clownfish is a saddleback clowns

then you should remove it or it will kill the carpet. these clowns are vicious and they will kill a weak anemone. they are VERY rough to anemone and if the anemone is not healthy to take the abuse, it will die.

i have my saddleback, one day i will remove them and kill them all to satisfy my anger b/c they abuse my carpets.

well ok then, i will eat them does that sound less poor? :D

we eat fish all the time man, we even eat pufferfish for sushi if you did not know that.

I really hope you are trying to make a joke, and even if you are, it is a very poor one.

:strange:

IME anemonefish that dive into an anemones mouth won't necessarily kill the anemone but they could possibly stress it to the point of killing it.

If it's a small anemone the chances of it becoming stressed are great.
Larger anemones tolerate the mouth dives just fine IME.

Umm, yes I did know that.

I just think it is a poor joke to say that you are going to kill your clowns for doing what comes naturally to them.
