jnarowe, I will stick with hardwire. Its definitely better.

bag, good idea on running the cable now. I've never done it so I am not sure if its easy or not. I may get someone to do it for me instead. I dont want to drill through a vent or circuit. :) The room sits right above the fish tank. :)

Kigs, im assuming it mimics a thunderstorm like the Profilux controller does.

erics, thank you.

Ed, it's a very light waterfall sound. I could stop the noise, but I like it as its relaxing and brings more of a realistic tropical sound. I had someone come in last week and they said they could barely hear it. I guess his was loud?

samson, thank you. Its very helpful

Dropping from the upper to lower floor is a bit of a pain because you have to drill through the footer and header 2x4s. They make a special drill bit that is on the end of a 4 foot flexible shaft so you can snake it in the wall. I have a fish tape to pull the wire through the wall if you want to tackle a DIY project.

do you have to go through the header? I would just pop through the floor and install the outlet in the ceiling. :D

Someone's got a new stand! :) More pics soon.

very clean, what type of finish and could you show us how the cabinet doors open and what hold them in place?

Alright, now it looks photo shopped :D JK, nice looking stand. How is the Biomatix working for you? Can you control it and get warning through your IPhone?

Chad

Hi Edward, your new stand looks amazing! :eek1: Everything is first class and I wouldn't expect anything less from you!

Also, keep up the great work on your website, I truly enjoy keeping up to date on it. :)

GSM, thank you!

mcrist, hope those were enough. :)

nugz, sorry I had some business to take care of yesterday but was able to snap some today.

cbui, I took pics of the doors open for you. As for the stand skin, there were so many colors and designs to choose from. I stayed with a simple black. Im glad I did.

Terry, ADG installed door hinges. They are easily removable. They snap on/off. The stand didnt need magnets. The entire stand is easily removable by sliding it out. I just did this today to clean up all the wiring for the biomatix controller. In other words, the stand is a separate unit from the original steel stand. It really looks like the stand is a whole unit itself.

ycn, thank you!

moo, thanks so much.

Chad, my bud... I thought the same thing. The stand looks photoshopped when i uploaded them. I guess Im getting better with the camera. ;) I just got done wiring up most of the Biomatix controller today. The only thing I have left is a network cable so i can access it through the web. Im enjoying the big screen. It fits just right with the stand. Oh and yes, I am able to control it through the iPhone. I tried it on the first day I got it before I gave it up to the stand designer. Once i get a network cable in again, I can finally play with it in production. I havent tested emails yet which is next on my list.

slovan, thank you for the kind comments. Your tank is amazing too!

It's beautiful. Not just a stand...it's a piece of furniture! And I love how you can slide it out for maintenance...well thought out!

You're gonna dig the emails. I get reports from my system any time there is something out of whack. I also like the graphing I get which helps pinpoint issues. I am really interested in your in-depth analysis of this unit, and hopefully you will have the time to document it. Will you do that here on RC or on your web site?

I would love to see some shots of how your equipment room is looking these days too. :)
