Thank you. I am using 3 x Abyzz A200s for flow. there will be 3 closed loops in total, no powerheads.
Thank you!![]()
Wow! looking really sharp with the glass panels. The room looks like it's coming together nicely, always a lot of work building a home.
Amazing start!

Great choice on flow and Abyzz. Did you get ACS module as well? Amazing setup following for sure.
Forgot to ask I read part VHO and I read Ai leds was wondering are you going combo? what are your plans for lights. Also on closed loop will you be using Abyzz controls for alternating flow or will you be using flow devices like oceans motions?
Z is helping me build a similar size tank 10 x 4 x 3 and back 3 months ago I was set on abyzz and was planning for 5 or 6 A200s but after just about everyone saying how much money they were I shifted to Red dragon in my design 2 x Rd 150s for closed and 2 x Rd 230 for sump and leverage oceans motion on each closed loop
My major concern is noise, I want things really quite, and it would be nice to not have a huge electric bill either
Any thoughts about abyzz vs red dragon ?

Yifan917,
As mesee2 mentioned we are looking into several ways to achieving optimal Closed loop. I to agreed and was on the red dragon band wagon as I have heard them and they are near silent. But after reading the ACS and the boast modes and seeing a few YouTube vidoes of them pulsing, I like the idea of not using oceans motions and a few hundreds of dollars of valves to be able to service or replace and instead using ap200s.
Not sure if you have this yet but it would be of great help to us. Do you have any renderings / drawings of how the plumbing will look like? Also what modes on ACS do you plan on using?
Thanks,
Z
Awesome!!
Awesome cant wait to see it finished
one word of advice re: all the ball valves. I would install them so they can be removed easily...after a couple of years they will freeze solid w/ calcium carbonate build up...best to remove them every once in a while and give a vinegar bath.
Otherwise, WOW! Nice build!
