It's just another 40 Breeder thread

Haha...to all those subscribed to this thread, I may be considering an upgrade already lol.

2 reasons. One my torch is causing an issue as far as space. its using up alot.

And 2, I want more room lol

So I am looking for a 90 RR tank currently as I type this.

I wouldn't go with a 90... Get something with more depth. Like a 120. :D 4/2/2

Sponger0, you may as well look for a 120 or larger. LOL 265?

I just don't like the Dims of the 90... Its just a tall 75... Honestly I would look into something like 60"L X 24"D X 18" H. That would look nice... Try to get as much length, and depth as possible. :)

My Bow front is 48"L x 24"D x 18"W. It was advertised as a 92 gallon but I've checked some calculators and they say it's 104 gallons. I like it, any deeper and I'd have to go swimming to reach the bottom.

Well after all this chit chatter about upgrades Ill do another update on my tank. Bad news unfortunately this time.

The Kole tang was actually doing fine. But the problem is he is causing my wrasse to completely freak out. So someone on my local club will take him. And some other tank mates arent too keen of him. But the tang was not stressed at all. Which is the reason I wanna upgrade already. I really like the tang.

Ive had a slight issue with PE on my SPS. Ive checked everything but the problem didnt manifest itself until a few days ago. Come to find out I have red bugs. I am going on a trip for a few days, so Im waiting to do the treatment til Monday but will be done first thing monday.

What would be a perfect size for me its 180 gallons. I can reach the bottom with no problem.

Well the kole didnt work out so got him a new home. But unfortunately in doing so, also my scooter blenny is gone. Which Im looking for one to replace him currently.

I had went out of town and on the way back stopped off at Reef Chief. Jeff always has some really nice stuff. Makes me wanna get out there more often lol. Well I picked up a few corals.

Currently in the process of trying to get rid of my torch. Seem it is taking up a huge amount of space and even maybe causing some water issues.

My Rainbow BTA seems to be growing and pretty excited about it. Ive been manually feeding it to see if that helps.

So currently my stocklist is a mated pair black occ and true perc, Starry Blenny, and Ruby Head Wrasse. Im really not sure what fish to go for next. Maybe just replaced the Scooter for now.

I thought Id do some updates since some changes have been made in the tank recently.

Blue Mandarin I picked up. I have been missing my scooter so I wanted to get another mandarin. I also dropped another bottle of Tisbe pods in the tank.

I had also picked up a Royal Gramma, but he is in QT and has been determined to hide behind the filter, but comes out when I feed the tank.

I had decided to start dosing my ATO with baking soda and has seemed to stabilize the alkalinity, so Im pretty glad that worked out. So far its coming along nicely.
