Built my lighting rack Friday after work while sipping on a few cocktails.

Started on the stand on Sunday. This is a work in progress. I am figuring the total weight to be about 4000 lbs. I think I need a engineer. This is the most important part of this whole project.

Looking for as much impute as possible on this so don't be shy:D

Fantastic work so far Dave

Don't listen to Kevin I think your stand has plenty of support, no reason to kill more trees over engineering the thing

I think you need more legs to the stand, those look skinny....

Sorry could not resist :spin1:

I can't believe you think my legs they too skinny:sad2: I put 2 screws in each one.:D

But you are right. The more I look at, it I think I need to beef them up a bit:idea:

This should do it.

One suggestion I would make is if you are ever barefoot in your fish room then you should put some cushioning around the base of the legs so you don't stub your toes. I stub mine all the time so thought I'd throw it out there  Cant wait to see the tank when you pick it up after nooks party! :celeb3: :bounce2:

Slight change of plans. I am having the tank trucked to a friend on mine shop in Fairmont City. It was just not cost effective to drive there with a trailer in toe and pay for a motel. Plus, the risk of something happening on the way back. This way the truck line is responsible for it until it is off loaded at the shop. Plus, who knows how much a night in Nashville would cost me.

Is that the only rock that'll be in the main tank?I l really like the right side.

I might have a little more rock in the main than that but I want to stay away from the piled up rock that I used to have in my old tank.

Where are you going to put the treasure chest with the bubbles that come out?

I have a feeling by the time this is all said and done the treasure chest will be empty and maybe need to cash it in for some salt:lol:
