Jacqueline's Reef 290 Build

That is a very good point. That is about the only metal left in the room and it is down where there is the most water movement.

So before the sump is set I need to remove part of braceing and coat them with the same material I used on the other plywood. (Sani Tred) I can coat the legs in place.

Its like a plastic coating. Very messy:wildone:

At least I will have something to do this weekend:D

Thanks for the extra work Octopus

Sorry I wasn't around to help put it in place, I've been out of the loop for a bit. Everything looks great though, I'll have to swing by sometime

I had plenty of help and it all went very smooth. :)

What kind of pumps are you using?

Those are Pan World pumps. The return is good for about 1700 gph and the other is good for 1100 gph which will feed skimmer, and all reactors.

I sure did and was able to get ALL the metel supports painted. Will finish the sump piping this weekend and do a fresh water test. :celeb3:

Dave, is it going in the same area you had the 125?
I can't wait to see it set up with h2o. Were you planning on perhaps getting a Sailfin Tang?

Yep it is going in the same place, just deeper and higher. The Sailfin is one of the fish on my list. Why do you ask?:)

It was a pain to take it appart but it will be worth it in the long run.;)
