Mary, your tank looks beautiful. I have been following this thread since the beginning and have learned so much. Your nano is an inspiration. I just entered the nano family.
:D I bought a 24g pod yesterday and will be doing a few mods before any water gets in it. I think I have almost as much fun tweaking before as playing after the water goes in!
Please keep us posted on your progress!

Hey califreefnut :)

Thank You so much !
Congrats!!!
I know you will enjoy getting it going, sometimes I think that is the most fun:D even after it is finished we are always moving things around....trying to find the perfect spot. Glad you found a good deal too. You keep us posted on your progress too!!! :)

Here is a pic of my 85 cube now after the change over. I do still have a few softies in this one too. I do have more room for water flow now. Before it was just too packed.

Thanks Mary, your new pics are great! Very inspiring! I am thinking about doing a 2nd pump also, but with a little twist...take it down to a spraybar that would come down and under the rockwork to increase water motion and circulation. I read about them a while back and it sounds like a good deal. Also I am thinking about getting my rocks and sand from Tampa Bay Saltwater. They aquaculture everything and send them underwater uncured so you end up with real LIVE rock! The testimonials are great, so much life on the rock. Might be fun, has anyone had experience with TBS?

I'll send pics as soon as I get some work started.

I'm finally starting to do some work, set up my spraybar and found out the Maxi 1200 did not have enough flow so I ordered the Rio 1400. Have to get some larger tubing. Also ordered the Tunze nano skimmer, only other one that fits in the back. I'll post some pics as soon as I figure out how, lol

Please do!!! I would love to see how the Tunze nano skimmer fits in and how it works too:)

As far as pics go use photo bucket you don't have to re-size them like you do here in the photo gallery. Also photo bucket is free. All you do is upload them and just copy and paste them using the IMG link

Here is mine and up at the top it says join here :)

Look forward to your pics.

Went to a RC meeting today and got a new fish, 6 line wrasse and a new zoo and 2 peppermint shrimp. One of the shrimp I am putting in the 85. I also got my first fava to go in the 85. I really like it. I did get a picture of it :)

Here is another site talking about it too:

I did order some and I have used it, and so far I can see some of the zoo's that I have never seen their mouths pucker out and with this stuff they do:)

SWEET! Your tank is inspiring. I've been offline for a while, thanks for the info Mary. Nice zoos!!! I'll try to take some pics, not real great at the online pic transfer stuff!!! Got the 1400 up and getting good circulation, just too much heat! Might try to modify & use a smaller ph. Got my water Sat from the Scripps Institute of Oceanography in San Diego, AWESOME, they make available filtered sea water they use in their tanks, free, just pull up and fill up at the spigot! My Tunze is on backorder so I'll let you know when it comes in. I'll order the LR & sand this week, so excited.

Thanks All :) Yes, It does look like it came from the moon..lol

My first two bubble bees didn't make it , but Live aquaria sent the other two, to replace the ones I lost and the sexy shrimp and these are doing great. They are always out and about.

califreefnut, what are your temps getting up to? Wow, filtered sea water for free, How NICE ! Best of Luck to you!!! Please keep me informed where your at with it.

Update on Tank pics. It has now been a month and all is going well. I have moved things around a little. I fragged out a few zoo's and put some back in the 85...just in case any thing went wrong. When you put so much into these tanks you really wan to protect your investment in them.

I got another new zoo in today that I ordered from the selling forum here on RC. They are the eagle eyes zoo I really like them.

I thought I had lost these in the move, but they are coming back.
