ok, there is the return, the drain, the :fun4: and the :lolspin:

 Yeah, I finally went to bed at 2:30 last night when I couldn't think about how many lines went where. Started again this morning, and proceeded to glue a couple of pieces that didn't belong together. Decided to take a little break and try again.

Just wondering, you think you could make some type of diagram with that maze of plumbing to give us an idea of *** you are doing?lol I have looked at the pics and have some of it figured out but the rest has me lost.lol

LOL! I don't have anything at the moment. Maybe I'll just draw a diagram, take a pic of it, and post that. I'll see what I can come up with.

That is crazy JT. remind me to never do a closed loop:)

I still like closed loops, but this is just crazy. 4 drains and 8 returns, as well as 2 drains and 4 returns for the main system. Add 2 lines for the fuge system, 2 lines for the skimmer, and 2 lines to run the CL remotely, and it's a real pain.

Yeah, it was a real pain, but I'll be rewarded by a very clutter free tank.:D Definitely spent enough on plumbing supplies to have bought a number of Tunze's.

Well, I'm done for tonight. Everything is ready to go except I will still need to attach the skimmer, and install the chiller so the chiller/fuge line can be turned on. Didn't want to get into that unless I had time to be sure the tank was full and I could install the smaller chiller on the garage system. I did leak test 2 with no apparent leaks:

And then started putting salt water in.:D Only about 60g tonight, more tomorrow.

My H&S seems to be blowing it's top without the BK on the system. This is a tad over 3 days worth:

I think it'll do, and I'm glad I'm putting it in the garage!

So Jeremy, the salt in your water - It's not just the sweat off your forehead, right? Just got to make sure since you're plumbing that maze in that blazing Vally heat :D

I put about 60g in last night. Another 100g is ready to go and I've got the RO running full bore.

I still need to deal with the chiller and skimmer, and I need to wait a bit to put water in the sump, as it was just finished on Saturday, but I figured I'd get some water in so I could live up to Jim's quote in my sig, and start bringing the rock in to play with the aquascape. I also want to get some straps to put on the lines running in the garage. It's too bad I have to work.:(

 No, the sweat is all over the floor.:D

Does anyone know a good, read "free", program to diagram plumbing or electicral lines? Google Sketchup doesn't really work for that.

Sounds like you are not waiting around to see if the house sells?

Nah. We still haven't seen the offers that are supposedly coming in, and I've set up the tank so that it'll be easy to disassemble and put back together. A new cycle shouldn't be too much of a concern as I've got the sand bed in a remote 55g tank that'll get moved intact(hopefully), and all of the LR will be good to go. As it is, I either move 1 250g tank, or a 125g and a 60g. Seems to make little difference. If we get a good offer before the corals go in, then I'll just stop. I've also got another remote sand bed in a heavy duty 30g acrylic tank that I could use, but I'd need to rid it of the planaria before I even considered putting it on the new system.
Also, the hole was already cut into the wall, so why not.:)

Also T, all that maze of plumbing was done during the wee hours mostly, and was in the house. The wife just LOVED the smell of primer and glue!!!:eek2:
