Hey Rob, don't really have any new pics yet. I'm not an avid pic taker as my pics suck. I did get an awesome 12"-14" gigas clam from Jeff aka Dr. DNA and let me say that this thing is a monster! It's definitely larger than a football and is a really nice blue in color w/blue spots.
 
Yeah, mine runs 6" almost all the way across, so I'm okay in that department :)

Rob, next time you head into sac, shoot me a PM and I'll give you my cell #.

Not much to see, but you are always welcome over :)

I had one that big close on my finger one time at a wholesaler and thought I would never get my finger back:lol: :lol:

BTW I though all you SPS nuts were BB junkies hahahaha. I used to hate BB tanks now I love them!!!

I think BB look so clean and nice. i would stay BB Jim. Just my 2 pennys.

I think there are al ot of SPSers with BB that are achieving great color!

OH ya BB with lot's of feedings.

I am in the process of redoing my tank at home and am going with a BB and adding a OM 4way version 3 powered by a Sequence Barracuda. Maybe I will start my own "rebuild" thread ;)

All these tank build threads may get me off my arse to re do the tank faster
 
Davey, I hear what you're saying. I like the low maintenance that BB offers.

The SSB in the display will serve no function other than looks though. After staring at John's display, I really like the look of sand :p

As for the DSB in the sump, I'm gonna run it until I start to see problems. If I do, Then I'll remove it. Right now I feel my system needs it. I need some extra filtration due to the low amount of LR I have in the display. It will hep for now.

Rob, Definitely start a build thread :D

It'll give us one more spot to hang out at ;)
 
No, his tank is still BB. But after all this time, it just doesn't look good :(

You'll see what I'm talking about tomorrow.

No, nothing added since last week. Well, actually I picked up a starry blenny, but thats it. I have about 20 frags in there that I'm trying to work with. A soon as I get these under control, I'll add more.

I've also already paid for a lineatus pair. They were supposed to be in on Friday, but it was a no go. They may or may not come in next week.

I've been doing 20% water changes every 2 days to help lower the ich numbers. Its working, as the fish are starting to look better, it just gets a bit pricey after a while :(

I did add some new union BV's on my manifold and some mangroves and chaeto to my sump (thanks jthao and Mark).

Nothing at all like Mr. Poletti has going on at his crib though :lol:
 
Yeah, I have two.

The ones that are having the problem are the maculiceps tang and dussumier tang.

Some of the others are showing a little, but if I can get those two to just heal up, I'm sure it would just be a matter of time before the others heal up too.
