June Meeting

I just want to be clear. The meeting is at the coral reef on the 27th at 2pm?

Also I think there should be a stipulation to the raffle. To win you have to be present at the meeting. That way you do not have to worry about posting anything or wait on someone to collect, and hopefully it will be a little bit more incentive for people to attend.

There will be 2 of us attending the meeting as well. Hope to see you gals and guys there!

The meeting is 2pm on Sunday the 27th and as always, everyone is welcome (bring your family). As far as being present to win, that will be hard to change now since the tickets say "need not be present to win". That was an incentive to at least get people interested in the club and forum with a chance to win a bag of salt. There are three bags to be raffled, so how about making the drawing for the other two bags for only the people that are present? Low attendance is another issue, a raffle isn't much of a raffle when there are only a handful of people at the meeting. So come on members of STARS, let's all make a real effort to show up to this meeting :)
 
Have to agree with Audrey, the tickets said need not be present to win so we need to honor that as it was printed. I seen an increase in the number of people that have visited the website as well as more people looking here at the forum, even if they haven't posted they are looking around and reading. They all have to start someplace!
 
John- Thanks for the reminder to check the website, I have not been there in awhile. I think the website is in need of some making-over. But noticeably the calendar. It is still on may and mentions that the may meeting is still in discussion. I don't know how to do it but if someone will show me and give me access I will keep that calendar updated.

Maybe we should start listing member birthdays on it as well?

and if we are going to car pool can we tell audrey the meeting starts at noon so we can show up on time:) <---my cheesy old school smiley. one day i will do a fancy post with fancy smileys
 
I'll be coming to the meeting and will be bringing some Tyree Green Mushroom frags I did recently in case someone want to trade. I'm looking for some more zoas.

Hey Ryan, your suggestions are always welcome here and that was a good point you made :) Thankfully we have three bags to raffle, thanks to Daniel! As far as the website updating goes, that's one of the subjects I wanted to bring up at the meeting.
 
The website being updated is an important thing. Daniel is in charge of the website, but he doesn't have to be if he will allow some of us to help with it. I will lend a hand with it anytime ans do what I can. We are all thankful to Daniel for making the site and having his people take care of it. I know it is an added job for someone and it may be to much for them. Daniel please let us know if we can help with the site.

Hello STARS , free time has been real scarse lately kinda mis having last years lack of activity LOL.
The web page was done on Microsoft Publisher , which means that I can email the file and anyone can update it as long as we upload the original file the content will only reflect the new changes.
Let me know who to send the file to (PM an email address)

It still needs work but is up and being used some what. We don't have a forum there but rather use RC and only use that website to try to help direct new ppl here. Check out the links and the other things. I hope we can get it going a little better in the near future and use it for a few more things.
