The one in the pic above is Chrisiptera parasema

One of the smaller less aggressive damsels. A hardy, easy excellent choice for most aquariums IMO
 
Thank you, I have been researching them but I am always conscientious now when adding a new fish. I hem and I haw.

I can't get my gsp to be "wavy" they just open up enough to be seen. I have them on the sand bed w a power head blowing towards them

Every system is different... but generally speaking, you shouldn't place powerheads pointing downward. Keep water motion at the upper water column strong enough to provide current down at the bottom.

Note that I'm not suggesting water motion is causing your GSPs to stay partially closed.
Mine get hit with some massive flow from an MP60 and are always wide open when lights are on
