Just ordered my RKE w/net

Man, I wish. There's nowhere to put one in my apartment, tho! :D

What a great reason to buy more PC4s and other modules, though. ;)

I see I was not the only hoot owl up last night! I was reading over my ACIIIpro's 27 page user manuel last night till about 3:30. What sucks is my printer is down and scrolling up and down on line in the virtual manual really is a pain...especially since I am a slow reader and learner!.
Not real familiar with the controller you guys have (or mine yet :)) but man thease things are real cool and I am amazed at all the cool things they can do! I picked up some phone cords yesterday and hopefully will actually start using mine this week and ditch the dial timers at least.... Sad thing is I have had the tank up 5 months and never bothered to read how to use my controller till now!! I know for sure I need a few breeak out boxes and water on floor monitors!!! I think I am going for the world record of water spills and have tried so hard to make this system water spill proof but somehow it always still happens!

Glad you all are loving your controllers!
 
I hear ya, Angella... I've had at least 4 small floods in the last WEEK! It is absolutely driving me NUTS. I keep doing stupid things, such as forgetting to put the ATO output back into the tank, so it all just goes into the floor. :rolleyes:

BTW Neve, clicking your "homepage" for reefnook doesn't take me to your tank page at all for ReefNook.. Don't know if its a bug with their site, but I can't seem to find a way to get to your tank page after I log in.

My RKE will be here Thursday, but then I'll be going out of town Friday night, and not back until Sunday night, so prob won't have it hooked up fully till next weekend.

I'm hoping I can get the Lights on a timer at least when I Get it.
 
Well looks like I'll be joining the Elite club, Just Sold my RK2 and will order my Elite ASAP. One question I have Is can you add the Web later or must you buy It with It from the start.

I put a fix up as well brandon. Reefnook has this idea, however skewed, of public and private urls. Users should redirect now to the proper place no matter what link you give out. Sorry about that.
 
Your RKE should have come with a fairly long piece of black and red wire with odd end pieces on it. Cut this in half and these will be what you plug into your SL1 for the SWA and SWB switch inputs.

All you have to do is take the two wires coming off of your floatswitch, connect one to the black wire, one to the red wire, plug it into whichever switch input you want to use, and you're set to program! :)

Sweet.
Was unsure, cause it was in the USB Bag, and at first look I thought it was for connecting the USB dongle to the Device or something. Now that I think about it, that was a pretty silly thing to think, since it has a bus connection as well :P
