I have a STandard 100gallon tank. I believe it's 60" x 18" x 24 ".
Would
2x 360We
1x 360Ne
+
2 T5 bulbs for supplement.
Mostly into LPS, Zoas, BTA. Maybe some easily SPS like Millie and stuff, nothing fancy.
So what you guys think? That enough light?
I use 6 360we on 60x30 footprint tank + 2 250w metal hailde light. SPS do grow, but some SPS grow better/color with hailde Light. I use above combo about two years now.
Very nice. Wondering if the MH are not the ones that should receive the credit for the coral growth.
Would love to see how you have put all those lights above the tank.

My thoughts exactly.
Thanks! The tank has been running for a little over a year and the Kessils have been online for 10 months. I run 4 Kessil a360we over my 120 gal (4x2x2). The photoperiod is 10 hours. Color ramps from 10% to 15% over 2 hours and runs like that most of the day with a 2 hour ramp down. I have a 2 hour "viewing" period where the color ramps up to 30%. Intensity ramps up from 10-75% over 2.5 hours and ramps down at the end over 2.5 hours. I started with the intensity around 40% and slowly increased this over months. My LFS also uses the same (a350) lights.
So I am trying to set mine up similarly, over a 12 hour period, from 10AM to 10 PM. After reading your post, if I understand you right and tried something similar for 12 hours, it would look like this?
10AM-noon 10% color 10% intensity
Noon-6 color 15% intensity 75%
6-8 PM color 30% intensity 75%
8-10 color 10% intensity 10%
Thoughts? My tank is brand new, just cycled, and I will be starting with soft corals next week. Over time I want probably just 2 hard corals at the very top. But mostly I will have fish and soft corals.
I've got a single kessil A360WE over my shallow 2foot nano. Corals are SPS mainly with a few softies. Tank runs with no sump or skimmer, just a reactor running activated carbon, and occasionally rowaphos, and regular water changes. Tank has been running for about 3-4 months. Coral colors are ok but improving as I'm finally beginning to register a little nitrate. I think my nutrients were too low to start with as my sps lost colour at first but are now improving and growing. Love the kessil to pieces
