OMG, I never thought I would be doing this but here I go!

Ordered 8' x 3' x 2' acrylic tank from S&S in Fairfield. It was ordered with large openings and has one brace across the top with 4" braces along front & sides and an 8" brace along the back.

I ordered a steel/powder coated stand from ATM in Las Vegas. 8' x 3' x 30".

The new house allows me to plumb into spare room so I get to have my very own fish room (just like the big boys!).

It all feels like a dream. . .

Stand came home first:

If you have a spare room (behind the tank?) for plumbing, why not an in-wall tank?

This is what I have and having access to the tank from behind is really nice.

Thats awesome!!!I am ordering a new 300 gal FO soon,I am wondering if I should go with the company you used,How is the pricing for there tanks?I can not wait to see the progress. The I daho Grape frag I got from you is doing well as are the other 2 acros.Enjoy,Chris

Not sure on refugium, but will be either this old nasty 55 gallon acrylic tank

or this 60 gallon glass tank (which would need a hold drilled - Steve???):)

I didn't really want to put it in the wall, but access from both sides would have been nice.

The pricing was very reasonable and they built it very quickly and it looks great. The 240 I currently have set-up is from the same company and it has help up incredibly, even with the mods that I made to it.

Very nice. I like fish rooms :D

Did you happen to make a thread in the large tank forum?

It si going to be fabulous and I am sure I will once again be envious of what I see here! Oh to have a fish room!

Kim, I am SO jealous. Everything looks so cool and with having a 3 foot wide tank, you have limitless options. I love the fish room and am very excited to watch you max out your space and put this miniature ocean together. If you need a hand with anything just call me :)

Awesome Kim! I wish I could of came and helped. You should definitely post this in the large tank forum. I frequent that a lot. Very insightful!

Any ideas on what you want to keep yet?

Jay
