Aquarium Concepts in Dublin has 6 Huge L Maculata, at least 8 inches long... I took some pics with my camera phone...Ill upload them later when photo bucket is back up.

Two of them were Lysiosquillina lisa, a species I have never seen for sale. The others were L. maculata including two females which are hard to come by. All were over 10 inches. Apparently they were purchased in a fish market in Indonesia.

those were the two lighter ones, correct?

I was hoping you would come by and grab them since they are to big for most hobbiest's aquariums. I went in today to get a zoa frag a customer traded in and one of the girls told my you grabbed 4 of them. Are you going to rescue the other two? If I had a 55 gal I could set up with a dsb id love to have one but its to much money for me at the moment. Ive got some cell phone pics to upload for the other users to see...

Excellent, im glad they are going with you!

WOW, I had no idea they got that big. Looks like something out of a sci-fy movie. " MONSTER MANTIS UNLEASHED". Thanks!

There is one left...a male i believe.

I thought Roy got them all? How much do mantis like this cost? And how in the world do LFS get these things???

They are $50, these ones were rescued by the distributer from a fish market in indonesia. Everyone asks about it when they see him, a few were even intrested in adopting(buying) him untill they found out about what it does and what kind of habitat it needs.
