Labropsis polynesica - anyone know anything about it?

A vendor is offering an although small, but very beautiful one for sale for a hefty price tag. I've never seen one before and there doesn't seem like there's too much info on it in aquaria life on the Internet.

I just want to make sure it's reef (coral and clam) safe. Many thanks in advance.

It's a great looking fish, but I don't think I would drop 3grand on a pretty much unknown fish. Mac did say it was already eating prepared foods. I would go check out the one heading to Long Island if that's a possibility, as least you can see what it looks like and get some feedback on it. On the downside, I don't think it will be up for sale long enough to do that. Someone is going to snatch up seeing how there are only two heading to the U.S. and they are the only two known to ever come here.

Yeah they did say it's eating, but I'm still waiting on a video to actually see it do so(which shouldn't be very hard to post these days). I feel the pictures are so one dimensional and would feel a lot better seeing a video before dropping that kind of change.

I only recently caught that it's only 3" too. That's tiny for a wrasses!

I have serious doubts it could be sustained long term on prepared foods; it's going to be really hard to substitute a natural diet of coral polyps without actually feeding coral polyps...
