One built by the previous owner of the tank. 6' tall, 12" diameter. Sit's in it's own 30G sump. Fed by three Sedra 9000's w/ needlewheels and venturi's on the input. Two of the venturi's are fed ozone from a .25 G/hr UV unit. I pull about a gallon a week of thick muck. I'd probably get more if I cleaned the collection cup more often that every 3 or 4 days.

I have a custome Aerofoamer 848, 6' tall, 10" dia. I run an Iwaki 100 through 1 beckett. Works great!!! Highly recomend!

but getting rid of all that when i make a 10' tall 6" to 8" diameter counter current with about 350gph to 400gph flow into it for my 350g system.

i am guesstimating it to use about 150 watts give or take...

It's a Geo Dual Needle wheel skimmer, using Gen-X 4100 Needle wheel pumps. This skimmer rocks.

Yes it is custom built, he currently sells only the 8x28 skimmer, so you would have to contact him for a custom skimmer.

I use a Barr SK5220 dual beckett run by a Sequence Hammerhead pump- It pulls about a half gallon of goo out each day and that's pretty dry. I think it's a little over 4' tall if I remember correctly.

This MRC 4 recirculating dual beckett with a Pan World 200 PX pump will service a 240 I am putting together.

I am gona start curing rock with it real soon ... can't wait!
