Large Tankers - What Skimmer You Using?

DANG 20K gallons, atlantis aquarium in NY is 20K gallons. I'd love to have a house with that size reef, and I'm in the market for a house, but allas I'm in NC, and I don't think I could afford your house just looking at your other toys. :D

Bill, it's a shame for a gorgeous car like that to spend all winter couped up in a garage. If you like, I'd be willing to babysit it down here in warm, sunny S. Florida until things warm up for you. :D :D

And back on-topic, I'm running a Euro-reef CS12-2 RC with SP4 pumps (essentially an RC500 model). It's a 12" diameter body, 30" tall.

I would love to, but I am sure it's a little out of my range... Your tank alone prob cost 1/2 of what I still own on my house...

The Missouri Lottery (part of a multi state lottery) is up to $365 million. When I win it on Saturday we can talk!:smokin:

mmmm....ferrari.... still laughing at when my mechanic showed me the handfull of screws it takes to do a oil change. It was a F355 & oilfilter & plugs were like $200+ :) So sweet!! someday.....

I have always been a lotus fan, like the funky weird cars I guess which is probably why I have been driving saabs for 20 years now :)

I would hope you take your car to local clud drivers schools so you can really let the car be in it's element.

back to the skimmers..... I use a ER 12-2/RC500 on my 260g which should be OK for when I upgrade to something in the 500+ area in a few years.

I do my own work on my ferrai , its a very easy car to work on long a you pay attention to detail .
The only pain when changeing the oil is removing the under tray under the the oil sump . It costs me about 100 dollars to change the oil . Mainly because it has alot of oil and I use royal purple which cost arond 8 bucks a quart .
Now a set of spark plug wires will set you back 1300 dollars and some change , and plugs cost 300 , but all we all know where to get the part a lot cheaper .

ooops that was supposed to be me :D He was logged in at work instead of me

TheCoralNabber, I will let you know :) I am hoping to have water in the tank in the next wk or two... Then again once I start the RO unit going, it's going to take like 5 days of non stop running just to fill the display :(

I dont understand how people run these skimmer with 500-700+ watt pumps . SO much money down the tube
