LEDs for 10gallon

I'm downsizing to a 10 gallon, and would like to keep soft, LPS, and have the possibility of SPS. Im wondering if the 165 watt panels from eBay would be way overkill. I'm watching one at a good price right now.
What other options do you think that aren't crazy expensive?
And how about the EVO 18" 10x3watt on eBay

Any NEW 165w led fixture will be more than you need, but are probably your best option for an led fixture. And with some selling for under $100, you almost can't go wrong.

Hi! I got the light but it seems overpowered! What about a smaller light like this one? ImageUploadedByTapatalk1478736922.795438.jpg 3 watt LEDs. Would that support corals?

165 watts? More like 16.5 watts

AI Prime or new Kessil A80. I use a Prime over my IM-10. Love it. Great color and easy peas controllability from your smartphone

While you are correct in them not putting out 165 watts (that is the combined rated output of the led's added together) you are really off base calling them underpowered, espically related to a 10 gallon tank. The par and spread produced by any of the black boxes will blow the a80 and prime out of the water, it just wont look as good doing it. (but will do it at half the price)

Good luck with your Chinese ghetto box. I'm good with my overpriced underpowered prime...

Some people do this hobby on a budget, try being less of a jerk.

There are plenty of people demonstrating success with them.
