HELL...YESSS.. Its about time lol

I envy that equipment. I wish so badly I had a eurobrace on my tank. That height is awesome. This is gonna be awesome. So when're you loading it up with goodness?

Also, whatre the reviews on those wavemakers?

Haven't really heard any reviews on the Xenus...rumor is they give T5s some shimmer and help oxygenization. I got it for free though instead of the 2nd set of bulbs, so I figured why not.

Making water as we speak, and plumbing.

Odd, so they give out 2 sets of bulbs? Thats cool, definitely help makes up for the price. Im interested in how that works, when you getit up and running. I plan on running some sort of wavy sea or wavebox, curious how this acts.

Is it full yet? Is it full yet? lol

The second set was being comped because of the delay and screw up with the overflow (along with shipping), but I figured Id rather have the Xenus to play with, so I asked if they could send that instead and they did.

Nice. I woulda done the same thing. Its better than having a set of bulbs laying around for a year.

Especially when after they filled my first set, they were out of stock of everything but sfiligoi super actinics :)

They didn't carry all the bulbs I wanted to use, so I also ordered some from Aquarium Specialty. Any tips on how to arrange these bulbs is welcome....here is what I have to work with:

4 ATI aquablue special
2 ATI procolor
2 UV Aquasun
2 KZ Fiji Purple
2 Sfiligoi Super Actinic
6 Aquascience Duo (17.5k)
4 Aquascience Special (15k)

Man I just finished reading the entire thread in one shot and have to say you, my friend, are one patient guy. You've definitely proved being patient has it's rewards! :)

Great job thus far, I look forward to the rest of the build! It's rare for me to be in the large tanks section but it's worth reading just for the fun with builds like this! :D

Moar mermaid pics! lol ;)

Im a fan of white tanks, so my opinion would be different than many I believe.. I would use all 4 aqua blues (12k), the 2 Uv Aquasun (10k), then Id mix in whatever else you got, so it still white but not blue. BUT Im already regretting the 14k hamiltons, since theyre too blue. So I REALLY dont like blue tanks.

awesome Cliffy!

you finally did it. tank looks great, so are you glad you decided to stick with it so far??? (the manufacture that is)

Yes, I think I made the right decision. The tank is nice, the silicon is good, but not perfect like an AGE or Elos, but for an extra 2000 (plus I got the free Xenus wavemaker), I can live with 10 minutes of my time to take a razor blade and fine tune the edging of the silicon.

Thanks all, I'm excited and about to make a run to HD for more plumbing parts updates to come, hopefully later today...

Dont those Xenus Wavemakers go for like $200 and you got the free shipping, right?:mixed:
