Lets Hear Those Fish Names!!!!

We only named the 2 gobies, so we could say one or the other did this or that without having to say "which one?". The orange-spot is Spot (duh), and the 6-spot sleeper is...well...can't say his name on here. We call him The AH for short. 30 minutes after putting him in the tank, I found him in the (covered but not well enough) overflow and it took 30 minutes to fish him out with me standing on a chair and my arm in the overflow up to my armpit. When I got hold of him I muttered "you AH!" and tossed him back into the tank.

I only have 3 named fish. Purple firefish wife named poppy after a coach purse she bought, Begai Cardnal Jack (Nightmare befor Christmas) and my Niger trigger, well being from Cleveland and him being an AH we just started calling him Lebron!

The guys at work have named the stuff in my pico.
Sammy and Sally the snails, Pepe the peppermint shrimp, Eugene the crab and hector the goby.

Flame Angel = Bette Davis (it's the eyes)
Clown Goby = Toby
Osc. Clown = Penny Wise (you'll get this one if you're a King fan)
Tomini Tang = Muss (think about it....Mustang)
Randall's Goby = Moby
McCosker's Wrasse = Ziggy (his females were Star and Dust)

Just a few of mine have names -- mainly done by the girlfriend, though it does make it easier when she is trying to tell me something about the fish, since she can't remember the common name.

C. deborai -- Magneto; when I first got this fish it was in an acclimation box for a week, the box sort of looks like Magneto's prison in X-man.

C. venustus -- Wolverine; not X-man. ;) The colors are similar to U of Michigan and the GF went to U of Illinois

C. multicolor -- Quatro -- was the 4th one, and the best (( the others came in sick ))
