Lets see those anemones

oh my!!!!!! Elegance!!!

Do you still have all those anemones? are they all tied in a same system?

I LOVE YOUR ANEMONES!

Out of curiosity, I know that clowns can host in anemones, but the picture of the one that the clown is in the mouth of the anemone up to his face...is he a goner?

Like Todd said, she was unharmed. She would only do this when she got startled. I did end up separating the clowns from the anemone though. I don't think the anemone liked having clowns diving inside it every time I walked up to the tank.

Here's a shot of two of them trying to get into the anemone at the same time.

One more of her peeking out just because I have imageshack open. Why not?

Thanks.

I lost about 90% of my livestock, winter before last, in a power outage. Almost threw in the towel. I lost the magnifica and the little green gigantea. I lost a bunch of clownfish. Including two of the saddle back trio, and ten elegance corals. I still have the haddoni, and crucifer. I gave away the two LTA's and the malu. I lost track of the LTA's, but the malu is still going strong in a friends tank. Right now I have a haddoni, gigantea, and crucifer in a 40 breeder together. About 100gl total gallons. I have everything in place for a larger tank. Skimmer, lights, reactors, pumps........ I just need a larger glass box for the critters. Once I install the larger tank, I will be adding another magnifica, or two.

Wow. Awesome thread with absolutely beautiful pictures. Those are amazing nems. I can't wait until I can get my lighting and my tank matured before I get some nems. I'll have plenty of time to do research. :D

ugh your pics make me exited to get a anenomy. sadly and extreemly happily im in the process of switching tanks. so ill just have to wait a little. also how hard is it to find a blue hiddoni and do tomatoe clowns host them?

Anthony-To find a Blue Haddoni around were we are located is really rare. The last time I seen one was 2008 and it was bleached. If you did find one,Its hard to say if your clownfish will be hosted by the anemone or not.

HTH's!

I got mine (( blue Haddoni )) about 4 years ago from the DD section of LA. Since then I think I have seen 3 offered there. The are difficult to find, let alone finding a healthy one.

Sorry to hear about your clown Todd but thanks to you and Elegance for the informative replies. Everyone's anemones look great but that picture, in particular, is one of my favorites on this thread...

Nothing wrong with BTAs. I'm slowly collecting as many cloned morphs as I can find. Only have three ATM, but hope to have around 10 eventually.

All your nems are awesom! :celeb1:
Here's my rose BTA.
