Although I have long been an advocate of the "1 angel per tank" rule, having previously kept multiple angels, I must admit the lure of an emporer / majestic combo is very tempting! I just got a juv. emperor, he is just about to strat changing, and I am very tempted to get a 3-4" adult majestic to share the 8x2x2 tank with him.......... but I do have reservations...... how do yours get along?

Marc- did you introduce that Angelfish to your reef display?
yeah.. 72 x 30 x 24 225 gallonOriginally posted by triggerfish1976
Gary,
Are these pics taken of you 72" tank? If so the angle always make it look massive.
the only things obvious to me in this picture is the fact that this Emperor is an adult from the Pacific (note the "streamer" off it's dorsal fin) and it's getting fed a sponge. I agree that both of these Angels are very nice looking specimens. Were they raised in aquaria or collected as adults?Originally posted by MGB
Virginabreeze6,
With all due respect to all those other great angels displayed, your emperor is by far the nicest I've ever seen in a tank. Where did you get him, how long have you had him, etc.
Beautiful fish, can you give us some husbandry tips, because your obviously doing something right.
